Tennis Elbow

Tennis elbow, medically known as lateral epicondylitis, is a condition that causes pain and tenderness on the outer part of the elbow. It commonly occurs due to repetitive wrist and arm movements, not just from tennis but also from activities like typing, painting, or lifting. The condition results from inflammation or microtears in the tendons that attach to the lateral epicondyle. Treatment usually includes rest, anti-inflammatory medications, physiotherapy, and in persistent cases, minimally invasive procedures or surgery to relieve pain and restore function.
